A grant of $100,000 to the Tasmanian Land Conservancy has assisted its purchase of 35 hectares of land known as The Big Punchbowl on the Freycinet Peninsula. Adjacent to the RAMSAR-listed Moulting Lagoon, part of a chain of wetlands, this will contribute to the establishment of a permanently protected conservation zone.
